Waitangi Day Thank you Sail:
As a ‘Mate of the Kate’ you are cordially invited to our annual Thank You sail on Friday 6th February, in company with “Flying Carpet” and your own boat if you wish.
Choose which boat to sail out on, Join at 09;30, for the “Kate” at the Causeway, for Flying Carpet at the end of Wharf Road.
We’ll anchor for lunch on Flying Carpet, ( bring a snack to share) swim, walk ashore, socialise, then you have the option of changing boats for the return trip.
The tide will be low when we get back, so we’ll anchor the Kate off the end of Wharf Rd, and put you ashore there in the new dinghy.
This gives us another opportunity to sail on the Kate, on Saturday 7th at 09:30, returning to the mooring about 15:00,
Auckland Wooden Boat Festival, 13 – 15 March:
Again we’ll be there, open for visitors to come on board.
We’ll be sailing up on Monday 9th, and back afterwards. If you’d like to crew, and/or can spare half a day to man her during open hours, please let me know.

All events are weather-dependent, In case of cancellation I’ll contact you by 7 pm the day before.
